Friday (day 5) Went like normal. I got super busy though and didn't wash the diapers. I let them hang out in the diaper pail for a while. You know. To get better aquainted with their stinky friends.
As a result I did end up with some more subborn stains. Oh well. Stains don't bother me all that much in diapers.
Saturday (day 6) was also a normal day. Well, as normal as it can get with someone moving into the house and a graduation party to go to. I didn't manage to get to washing the diapers till this evening. I was OUT of covers. Hopefully these dry quickly tonight and we don't get rain. That would be bad as every single cover (for the challenge anyways) is on the line EXCEPT the one cover for my 2 yr old. WHEW! We cut this one way to close!
I threw the diapers into the tub to soak while we were at the graduation party. After we got back home I went right in and got them scrubbed up and clean. They are dancing away on the line now.
I am still LOVING flats. I normally use the origami fold with my 1 yr old and a pad fold for naptime for my 2 yr old. Yesterday he used the same diaper twice though as he was still dry. (WAIT! THAT COVER IS STILL USEABLE! It is waiting in the office for his next naptime! He went to nap in unders today and woke up dry! WOOHOO! I forgot about that cover and diaper!) Yes, I can be random sometimes. At least this time it was on topic. ;) I have tried the "diaperbag fold" once. I don't know if I am doing it right but whatever I did seemed to work well.
